A young woman has revealed how she made the stomach-churning decision to spend her hard-saved first home deposit on launching a business.


Roza Hosnavi was just 29 when she decided to back herself and launched Sassy Saints, a brand best known for its 'game-changing' at-home salon treatments.


Speaking to KOSMETIZE the now 31-year-old admits she was anxious to spend her hard-earned cash on a dream.


'It was one of the biggest decisions of my life, but I also knew this is what I needed to do and had to back myself as we were putting everything into it.'


Not only did she spend her life savings but the business minded young woman also ditched her job in corporate business and finance to start her company.


'I finished up work on the launch day of Sassy Saints. I knew if I wanted this to be my reality I needed to go all in with no plan B,' she said.

'We are hoping to renovate but like anything Sassy Saints takes full priority so this is a slow renovation.

The couple have been together for 10 years, and got married in July 2016.


'This was a full-circle moment for us,' she admitted.


The young entrepreneur is still amazed when she sees the sales figures.


'I cannot believe that our at-home salon treatments has travelled into that many homes and peoples lives in the UK.

When I started Sassy Saints I never imagined that this would happen.

"I am truly grateful to be able to help so many women save money on the salon so they don't have to compromise on other things like going out anymore."


And admits while spending her initial house deposit was the scariest moment, financially, but there have been others since starting the business.


'There will always be moments in business where anxieties creep in, however I just try to remember why I started and what really matters,' she said.


'Of course there are always stresses around new product launches, scaling, formulating, manufacturing whereas before the stress or anxiety was launching and making noise.

We have an incredible community who have been instrumental to our growth.'
