Harder than it looks

I love the process, the dipping of the powder, it’s easy and the step by step guides are great. I just find it hard to get that salon looking finish, the edges of the nail are always a bit jagged, and they lift after a week or so. I have also found I was doing it too often and my natural nail has become very brittle so I have stopped using it for a while to let them refresh. I bought the varnishes and these are harder to use than I had expected aswell, it’s almost like I need something to stick on my nail to help me with straight edges until I get the hang of it properly
