1. Apply in the evening before bed (use good lightning though)

Your adhesive bonds for 8+ hours without water, heat, or accidental bumps.

Night application = dramatically stronger hold.

2. Warm your gel wraps

Use a quick blast from a hair dryer or place them on a warm cup.

Warm wraps = flexible, stickier, stronger adhesion.

3. Prep your cuticles (CRUCIAL)

Any cuticle overhang — even 1 mm — causes lifting.

Push them fully back (tutorial covers this step).

4. Lightly buff the nail

Remove the natural shine and wipe away the residue.

A matte surface = a surface the adhesive can grip.

5. Dehydrate completely

Use primer or alcohol.

Make sure nails look matte, dry, untouched.

(Do NOT touch nails with fingers after dehydrating.)

6. Choose a wrap that's slightly smaller than your nail bed

Smaller = no contact with skin or sidewalls → no early lifting.

7. Press firmly for 10 seconds per nail

Focus pressure on edges and tips — this “activates” the adhesive.

8. Avoid water for 2–3 hours

This final curing window is EVERYTHING.

9. Avoid oil-based products & handcreams while wearing

Oils & creams break down adhesion.

Simple rule: Oil & creams = lift.
