OTHER SALON KITS
We’re honestly so excited to be part of your smooth skin journey! The whole idea behind this kit was to make full arm waxing so much easier — and actually give you those long-lasting, salon-quality results… right from home without the mess. You’ve got this — and we’re here for every step (and every strip) along the way.
Here’s the secret to success: follow our instructions!
For first-time use or when replacing the cartridge, follow these steps. If the device already has wax from a previous use, skip to Step 1.5.
1. Unscrew the cartridge wax:
Twist the lid of the cartridge wax counterclockwise following the thread design on the cartridge. Some cartridges may require a little more force to unscrew, it will turn however!
2. Remove the leakproof seal on the cartridge:
Gently tear off the seal to expose the wax within the cartridge.
3. Tighten the cap:
Once the seal has been removed, make sure to screw the roller cap onto the cartridge tightly, this will prevent any wax from spilling.
4. Insert the cartridge:
Insert the wax into the roller device by placing the cartridge inside.
5. Plug the device in:
Plug the device into the socket and press the power button on the front of the device, this will be red to begin with.
6. Device heating to temperature:
The light will turn from red to green when the wax has reached the correct temperature, this heating process should only take around 10 minutes.
7. Insert the cartridge:
The light will turn from red to green when the wax has reached the correct temperature, this heating process should only take around 10 minutes.
8. Keep the device plugged in until you're ready to use:
Don’t unplug the device until the next step has been completed, this ensures the wax will stay at optimum temperature for your treatment.
Test the Wax Temperature
You're now ready to begin waxing! Unplug the device, and if at any point the wax isn’t flowing smoothly or evenly, simply return to step 1.5 to reheat the wax.
Remember, always apply the wax in the direction of hair growth, and remove the wax against the hair growth for the best results. Because everyone’s hair growth direction is different this might be slightly different to what we are doing. This ensures a clean and effective removal.
Sit comfortably with your arm fully extended and ideally balancing on a surface. Begin rolling the wax in the direction of your hair growth, starting just below the inner elbow and moving toward the wrist. Keep in mind that hair growth patterns can vary—some people’s arm hair grows downward, while others may have hair that grows across. If your hair grows across, apply the wax in smaller sections, rolling side to side rather than from elbow to wrist. Regardless of direction, ensure you apply a thin, even layer for the best results.
Take a wax strip and position it at your wrist. If your hair grows side to side, still begin at the wrist and work upward. Remember, always apply the wax strip in the direction of hair growth and remove it against the hair growth for the best results.
Press the strip firmly onto the freshly applied wax, leaving about 1 inch of the strip at the bottom free of wax for an easy grip. Gently rub the strip to ensure it adheres well to the wax.
When waxing our arms we cannot pull this skin tight as we are working with one hand, so ensure you are removing the wax strip quickly and efficiently. Quickly pull the strip against the hair growth in one smooth motion.
Immediately press your hand on the freshly waxed area to soothe the skin.
Each wax strip can be used for two roller sections from just below elbow to wrist, but if it starts pulling or tugging at the skin, replace the strip with a fresh one.
Move the strip to the next fresh wax area, making sure to leave 1 inch of free strip at the bottom for easy removal.
If you are completing a half arm wax you can stop here and move onto step 4.
Move to the upper arm and repeat the process:
Apply wax in the direction of hair growth, starting from just below the shoulder and moving towards the elbow.
Use a new wax strip to remove the wax, pulling it against the hair growth.
To wax the back of the arm you will need to bend your arm but continue to follow the steps as above.
For the elbow or areas where hair grows in different directions, work in smaller sections and adjust the application to match the hair growth pattern.
Using the post wax wipe included in the kit wipe over the entire waxed area, this will remove any sticky residue but also soothe the freshly waxed skin. Don’t bin this yet!
Proper cleaning of your roller device after each use is essential to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Follow these steps for a thorough clean:
1. Disassemble the Device: Unscrew the top of the device to release the roller head.
2. Remove the wax: Roll onto a clean wax strip repeatedly to remove most of the wax.
3. Soak the Roller: Place the roller head in a bowl of boiling water and let it soak for 10 minutes.
4. Remove Residue: Carefully take the roller head out of the water. Roll it onto a clean wax strip repeatedly until no residue remains.
5. Clean the Inner Sides: Use the wipe saved from soothing your legs to clean the inner edges of the roller where wax may have accumulated.
6. Reassemble: Once all the wax is removed, reattach the roller head securely onto the device.
7. Proper Storage: Store the device upright in a cool, dark room, away from direct sunlight.
By following these steps, you'll maintain your roller device in top condition and ready for use every time!
