I was really excited to treat myself to this one, but it looks nothing at all like the picture, to the point where I wondered if they’d sent me the wrong thing. Other reviews mention a colour disparity, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this drastic.
There really is nothing midnight blue about it at all - in almost all lighting it comes across as a very muted mix of grey, lavender, and lilac shades, with a blue-purple shimmer in direct sunlight. The shimmers and uneven tones give it a look that reminds me of suede or velvet, and could give off luxurious or grungy vibes depending on how you style it.
If the images on the website had been accurate, I’d probably quite like it - hence the two stars rather than one - but because of the disingenuous marketing I just feel ripped off.
