When applied and removed properly, no. Unlike other nail treatments that can leave nails feeling weak and brittle, these gel wraps give a manicure finish without the harsh side effects.
How long do they last?
They can last up to 7 days per set.
Can I reuse them?
The UV-Free Gel Wraps are single use only, and should be discarded when removed.
Are they suitable for use when pregnant or breastfeeding?
Absolutely yes!
What age are these suitable for?
Not suitable for young children, but can be used on teenagers with supervision.
Can I reapply straight after the last set?
Yes you can, just make sure all residual adhesive has been completely removed from your nails, your hands are clean and dry, and you haven’t applied oil to your nails.
Do I need to give my nails a break?
No, as the UV-Free Gel Wraps don’t damage your nails, you can use them as often as you like
Do I need to learn a skill to apply the gel wraps?
No, these are super easy to apply and can easily be applied even by complete beginners.
What do I do if it starts to lift / come away from the nail?
Apply heat & friction, gently pressing the wrap back down onto the nail. You can use gentle heat from a hairdryer to warm the wrap before pressing the lifted part back on.
Can I wear them for gardening/doing dishes/chores?
To protect your Gel Wraps, wear gloves while doing gardening or housework.
Can I wear them in the bath?
You can, but avoid soaking them for too long as the water could encourage lifting.
Can I wear cuticle oil?
Oil can interfere with the adhesive and encourage lifting, so avoid using oils on the nails or cuticles while wearing gel wraps.
Can I wear hand cream?
Yes you can, but avoid applying it to your nails or cuticles while wearing wraps, to prevent lifting
Can I use these on my toes?
Yes, if they fit! Application for toes is exactly the same.
Do these fade in the sun?
The colour should not fade when exposed to sunlight.
Suitable for holidays?
Yes they are, but prolonged exposure to sea/pool water and sun lotions could encourage lifting, so always take spares!
